Scavengers

The scavengers that live among us
Pretending to be your pals
Chew your brain before you avenge it,
But damage has been done!

Resourceful minds can be replenished
But scavengers can’t create;
The limitation of their flair is
Failure to communicate!

The scruffy images of dullness
Won’t thrive on their looted crumbs;
Only fools can join their gathering
Not knowing they were robbed!

Ignore all flattery like fire
Sweep it under the rug;
Don’t fall into their lair of lies —
Trust your stalwart voice!
