To Prince Vladimir Kirillovich Galitzine (Aka Misha)

You were the soul of all of us,
We knew you from the Orthodox Church,
Or outside of, if one was lucky,
You were a SVP of the Bank of New York.  
 
You left the earth turning 76 – less than a month,
No pleasure for a late retirement.
The fact your title was a Prince
You tried to hide it as an unwanted dowry.
 
Your philanthropy and love for life
Was so contagious and avid
We miss your humor and great mind
We will remember you as light!
 
No matter how many years will pass
We will pray for the purest soul of yours
Your name is in our prayer books
We were grateful for your friendship, Misha!
